My Interview:

1. When did you realize that you wanted to be a writer?
A. I wrote from a very young age, my early teenage years. My school friends and English teachers were a constant source of inspiration. I decided to become a writer eventually.

2. How much time does it take for you to write a book?
A. A few months to a year. I mainly write poetry and short stories. Both of these require adequate number of pieces to form a collection.

3. One of the qualities you learned from writing?
A. Reading is as important as writing.

4. Where did you get the inspiration for writing such a book?
A. Life perhaps! I believe that the world has enough negativity and hatred in it already. So I write on inspiring things that remind us that the world is not a bad place after all.

5. What do you like to do when you're not writing? As in, what are your hobbies?
A. Reading, photography and numismatics.

6. When did you write your first book? What was the inspiration behind it?
A. I published my first book on 05 September, 2018 (Teacher’s Day, yay!) and it was a collection of poems from age 14 to 21. The inspiration was to provide readers an insight as to how a poet begins their journey as hardly any established poet publish their earlier and initial works.

7. Your favorite author?
A. Khaled Hosseini

8. What do you think makes a good story?
A. Good imagination, execution of the plot and a worthy climax. Some twists in between definitely helps.

9. Any suggestions for the budding writers?
A. Time, Money and Hard Work required. You started the journey, good, now do things to keep it!

10. Was writing your initial goal?
A. Probably. I don’t remember. But I always felt happy writing stuff. I guess goals matter as long as you are still happy after achieving them.
